Good morning and welcome to our sixth Sunday morning of social distancing and isolation. Many of us are now getting used to new routines although for some there are still considerable difficulties. It is good that we are still able to do things together, although in different ways, including our regular online meetings using Zoom software and apps. As usual, this morning you will need the Service Sheet which you should have received by email or through your door yesterday, and which you can download here. If you are reading the Service Sheet online you should be able to just click the links to get to the readings and songs. You should also have received our usual 7/52 notice sheet, but you can also download it here. Don’t forget to scroll right through this page and click on any other links after the readings and songs.
As you read, pray and work your way through the suggested order of service you can follow the readings and the songs by clicking on the links in the Service Sheet below:
Bible Readings (click to open a new window or use your own Bible)
Songs (click to open a new window and follow the song on YouTube)
And Now For Something Completely Different
One of the best known passages from the Old Testament used during Holy Week to reflect on the Passion of Christ is from Isaiah 53, a passage that is often referred to as the Prophesy of the Suffering Servant.
Our Daily Bread has just posted a fascinating documentary called The Mysterious Prophesy of Isaiah 53 on their YouTube channel which is well worth a watch. You can view it by clicking here.
